Who we are
One family, one yard, most of what your car will ever need
J & J is a family operated shop on Ramish Avenue in Bell Gardens. Jose runs the mechanical side, Leslie runs the front, and between the bays and the body shop we handle almost everything a car needs without sending you across town.

What rolls through the gate
Body shop and collision
The sign out front says Service, Repair, Collision, and we mean all three. Panel work, paint and putting a car back together properly after a hit, in the same yard that services it.
Computer diagnostics
A light on the dash is a symptom, not a diagnosis. We pull the codes, then work out what is actually causing them before anyone starts replacing parts.
Hi-performance
Intakes, tuning and the work most general shops send elsewhere. There is usually something with the hood up in our yard that did not leave the factory looking like that.
Classics and restoration
Carbureted V8s, 60s pickups, 70s trucks. Older cars need someone who has actually worked on them rather than someone reading a screen, and that is half of what rolls through here.
European and specialist marques
BMW, Porsche and the rest. Timing chains, valve covers, the jobs a dealership quotes four figures for. Same shop, same rates, no separate specialist invoice.

Somewhere decent to sit while we look at it
Most shops give you a plastic chair by the parts counter. We painted the waiting room out, put proper seating in it and left the door open to the bays, so you can see your own car being worked on rather than wonder about it.

What has been on the lift
Every photo here is a real car in our yard. Saleens and Boxsters next to a 1960 C10 and a carbureted V8, which is a fair picture of a normal week.
